The adaptation new superior varieties and planting ways to arthropode diversity and rice yields

Abstract The impact of climate change is the biggest challenge for agricultural sector, especially food crops sub-sector. research was conducted in Jembrana Bali. aim to obtain new high yielding varieties rice and location-specific adaptive planting methods. time April - August 2021. Used a factorial randomized block design. first factor consists type variety (V) second method (T). 3 levels, namely V1=Bioni 63; V2= Inpari 32; V3 = 30, while (T) 2 T1 direct seed planting, T2 transplanting. Data were analyzed using analysis variance further test with LSD 5%. results showed that treatment methods had no significant effect on diversity carnivorous arthropods. Four types arthropods found, odonata, araneae, coccinellidae , paederinae low species index 0.4985; 0.5210; 0.5172; 0.4976; 0.5205, 0.5057 V1T1; V1T2; V2T1; V2T2; V3T1, V3T2. Dominant herbivorous Scirpophaga incertulas Walker, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, Nilaparvata lugens Stal, Leptocorisa oratorius . highest yield shown V1T2 at 9.44 tons/ha. It concluded Bioni 63 Agritan use high-yielding also contributed reduction chemical pesticides, data supporting yellow stem borer attack.The relationship between sustainable agriculture supports agriculture.
